Comprehensive Psychological Assessments
Answers You Can Trust. A Path Forward You Can Act On.
A psychological assessment does more than assign a diagnosis — it tells a story. It explains why someone thinks, learns, or feels the way they do, and it gives that person and their care team the information they need to move forward with confidence.
At Nuvera Mind, our assessments are comprehensive, individualized, and grounded in current research. We evaluate children, adolescents, and adults, and we take the time to make sure every client and family understands what the results mean for real life — not just on paper.
Our Assessment Services
ADHD Evaluations
Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder looks different across ages, genders, and life stages — and it is frequently misunderstood or misdiagnosed. Our ADHD evaluations go beyond a checklist to provide a thorough picture of attention, executive functioning, and how these challenges are showing up in school, work, and daily life. We evaluate children, teens, and adults, recognizing that ADHD in a struggling 10-year-old looks very different from ADHD in a high-functioning professional who has spent years compensating without knowing why.
Our ADHD evaluations may include:
- Clinical interview and developmental history
- Standardized rating scales completed by the client, parents, and/or teachers
- Cognitive and attention testing
- Assessment of executive functioning, processing speed, and working memory
- Screening for co-occurring conditions (anxiety, depression, learning differences)
- A detailed written report with diagnosis, recommendations, and accommodations guidance
- A feedback session to review results and answer your questions
A clear diagnosis opens doors — to treatment, to workplace or academic accommodations, and to self-understanding.
Neurodevelopmental Evaluations
Neurodevelopmental conditions affect how the brain processes information, regulates behavior, and interacts with the world. Whether you are seeking answers for a child who is struggling in school, a teen navigating social difficulties, or an adult who has always felt like they process things differently, a comprehensive evaluation can provide the clarity you have been looking for.
We evaluate for a range of neurodevelopmental presentations, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), learning disabilities, intellectual functioning, language-based disorders, and other conditions that affect cognitive and adaptive development.
Our neurodevelopmental evaluations may include:
- Comprehensive clinical interview with the client and/or caregivers
- Review of educational, medical, and developmental history
- Cognitive and intellectual ability testing
- Language, academic, and adaptive functioning assessments
- Social communication and behavioral observation measures
- Autism-specific diagnostic tools where indicated
- A thorough written report with diagnostic impressions and practical recommendations
- A feedback session to walk through results with you and/or your family
We serve clients across the lifespan — from young children just beginning their educational journey to adults seeking a better understanding of how their mind works.
What to Expect
Every assessment at Nuvera Mind begins with a thorough intake to understand your questions and concerns. Testing is spread across sessions at a pace that works for the client, and all evaluations conclude with a detailed written report and a dedicated feedback appointment.
We write our reports to be useful — not just clinically accurate, but readable and actionable for clients, families, schools, employers, and treatment providers.
